I am awaiting the color comentary of the comical racer for todays action. We almost had to put to rest his kart and mine today due to some unusal lines coming out of the carosel.
Guys I wanted to say I had a great time today. Look forward to racing with you in the near future.
Andy I know you say you might not race the first couple. I just bet I will be seeing you with your helmet on in the march race.

More on the helmet later......
First, as always, a huge thanks to the Atlanta crowd for coming over today and braving the long trip.
Mark Benton coming over for the first time with the Birel/ Rotax. Super nice to meet you mate, and we all hope you come back really soon again!
The ever cheerfull Ihor Bilyy and son again. This time Atlanta, we actually got Ihor in a suit and out on an Arrow/ Rotax...He looked great, and we just need to give him the final push to get a Kart and get out there...
The wonderful folks from New Jersey and North Carolina, Great to meet y'all and thanks again for coming.
As Jason previously stated, Good news and bad news for Stan Stanton.
First the tremendous win of the coveted Goody's cup, but then devastation at being penalised for actually being photographed rescuing a used spark plug from the trash barrel. Stan was most upset to learn that the penalty this year for such a heinous crime is having to wash Tom Wrights mini every sunday for the rest of the summer......
Paul Anglin muttering threats about 'possible future mysterious mechanical problems' if his wife Rian continues to edge closer and closer to Pauls lap times....
Mike Irby continuing his weekly goal to visit the landscaping at least twice per session...
Jason Wisener may be really quick, but by golly the man can also load a trailer....Jasons trailer looked like the cartoon where 38 clowns come out of a small car today, as he defied all the odds and found a way to put six karts (Yes six!) in his trailer.
Terrance may need to come to Jason soon for stock at the store....
Mike Robinson learning the mysterys of replacing a chain today, and gets the runner up medal to the Goody's cup.... Wouldnt have a spare chain would you?...Could i get a splash of gas??...Got a chain breaker??
There was also a photographer there all day today that appeared to have taken several thousand shots. I gave him my card, and hopefully we may get some good racing shots..
Thanks also for pointing out that yours truly may have the sponsorship thing all backwards....See i thought that you were supposed to pay the sponsor....
So because i smoke a lot of Marlboros i thought it only fair that i should spend large dollars on a cool helmet that promotes their product....
It looked like the cover shot of National Kart News in pit lane today, with more karts and factory suits than a regional final.
A really fun day out folks, and i had a huge time. Today was typical of the reason i got into this. A really good time with a lot of good friends.
Thanks all,
See ya next week
The Backmarker...

Look forward to passing us in the near future, more like (Jason)! Nice meeting all of you guys; I had an absolute blast. Thanks for the help and giving me a warm welcome. Hopefully I can make it to some of the races this spring and summer.
BTW, who was that taking pictures? I'd love to get/buy some pictures of myself from today, first day karting and all.
Edit: Oops, Andy beat me to it. Anyone have his contact info?

Hey,
I was the one at the track taking all of the photos today. When I ran out of CF memory, I went home. Currently I'm culling the 500+ shots to get rid of the duds. The photos will be on a website later on tonight where you can purchase prints. Printroom.com does all of my prints and they guarantee you will be satisfied with their work or you get your money back. I promise you these photos will blow you away when you see them.

Awesome, Jay. Thanks for taking the photos, and I'm sure I will buy several. That worked out great that you were there, as I really wanted to get some pictures of me on track for the first time. Get any shots of my 5+ spins? lol... only kidding

I had a lot of fun today as well. It turned out to be a beautiful day for a little racing
I’m not sure if it was the borrowed chain or the borrowed gas, but Mike Robinson sure got a lot faster afterwards. Mike pasted Andy and I both like we were sitting still while I was performing yet another rear bumper inspection on Andy’s kart.
Andy looked pretty dashing today in his new suit and helmet. I had an almost uncontrollable urge to get his autograph, but I think he may have been mislead about some of the optional equipment included in his new helmet. Early on in the day some smoke was observed trailing Andy’s kart that he CLAIMED was coming from his brakes. I think he may have been taking a smoke break while careening through the carousel corner. Andy, just because it’s got the Malboro logo on it, doesn’t mean you can smoke in it.
Now for these reports of 'possible future mysterious mechanical problems', I can assure you than any mechanical problems ailing the kart while Rian is driving would only be a coincidence. Really……. Honestly…….. No foolin’………
