Well, its official. I've sold my kart. The new owner lives in the area and will likely join the club and race. I'll stay in touch, flaggin occasionally. I did keep my Maximo chassis and a few bits...enough to maybe rebuild that kart with something like a Briggs WorldFormula motor for hot lapping but my wheel to wheel days are over. Although I am about to start building an FFR Spec Racer Cobra thingy.

Dang Jaye, I hardly knew you.
Although I would like to get a look at the FFR Spec Racer when you recieve it. Jennifer and I really want to build one in the near future. Are you planning on racing the Cobra in the NASA series, or is it going to be a weekend track toy?

Well I plan to drive it a while on the street maybe autocrossing to get the feel of the beasty. Then I'll probably graduate to track days. After that I don't know if I'll run it in NASA or just use it as a track toy.

Wow what a small world...I am new to this forum as I am interesting in karting in the Decatur area. (I work in Decatur, but I live in Atlanta.)
The only thing keeping me from getting a kart is the fact that I am building a FFR cobra. I am just waiting to buy the motor. E-mail me if you have any build questions.
