I had to try out the poll thing, and this seemed like a great opportunity. So with that in mind, let's narrow down the options a bit concerning a club meeting. I would assume Wednesdays and Sundays are out because of people going to church. That leaves the rest of the week, and Saturday. We need to find out if more people can make it during the week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday, or would more prefer to do it on Saturday. So cast your votes and we can find out who's actually interested as well as when is best for the most people. We'll leave Wednesday and Sunday as options just for grins.

How about letting Tom decide a date? I'm good with whenever Tom wants to do it.

The 19th good for everyone?
I think Tom is stuck working two weeks of 12 hour nightshifts, so lets make it as easy as possible?

Agreed, I don't think we could really call it a club meeting without the president, and the 19th sounds like as good a day as any to me.
Sorry to hear about the nightshifts, Tom. I had to work a fews weeks of 7-12's on nights a few weeks ago, and it's definately not any fun.

Tom, You set the date and time and we will be there.
I received the membership packet today and I think we as a club really, really need to discuss this. I think the membership dues alone will keep a lot of new and old members from signing up, then those that are left will be saddled with the burden of putting on the races.
We really need to consider the cost to the members because not everyone wants to race much less being asked to subsidize the races or being obligated to work at a couple of races just to get the membership dues cost back down to a reasonable level.
Now I don't claim to be the one with the answers but I do feel we need to discuss this as a club.
Thanks
Mark A.
