I think Shelton told be that the pole time (Int'l) was in the high 37's. Since results aren't posted, someone else will have to post on the Masters pole.

I'm going from memory here, but depending on the track conditions the pole can be anywhere from mid to high 37's on a good day all the way into the high 38's on a low grip day (running YHC's), and then if you're running MOJO's you can add another 0.5 to 1.0 sec. to that. Jason usually gets the pole in the Master's class, so he could probably give a more definite answer.

Thanks guys, I was just curious. Carl don't know for sure yet what im gonna do. Good to talk to you again. I ran the 24hr race on a rotax and thats about all the seat time I ever had on one. no front brakes was about the only thing I disliked about the class. A little more contact was involved with rotax racing as opposed to shifters atleast when I raced. hehe

Go Rotax man, bigger classes, pretty fast, motor is sealed so nobody can out spend you, drivers class, etc, etc, etc. You can road race it and be competitive there. As far as brakes goes, you can now run front brakes but I have to say I like rear only brakes and I don't think you need front brakes.

The best thing about a Rotax is you just show up at the track and run. They don't break - at least not very often.

And by the way, the last race I saw you run your shifter I remember some contact hehe.

It would be great to see you back on the track and I think you will find the Rotax more affordable.

Thanks Carl, maybe it was some contact in that race :] Im probably gonna go rotax masters since im 195lb-200lb that should be around the 405lb range for that class I hear. I might have to add alittle weight? My son is gonna run rotaxjr it looks like.

I'm 190-195 lb and with kart it makes total around 375 lb. Chassis are different weight so you may get heavier to make it 405 or race in lighter class.

Shannon,

If you want I'll bring my Arrow Bigboy out and you can get some seat time if you would like.

Back when I was runnin' my old worn out, raggedy piece of crap Maximo; Berryhill, Bramblett and I qualified down in the 37.6-37.4 range Berryhill has run an entire race with every lap under 38...you guys are going to have to pick it up. ;-)
